Our club afternoons are held on the first and third Sunday of each month, from 1-4 p m.  Halfway through the afternoon we have a break for a cup of tea and something to eat and this gives everyone a chance to mix and mingle and meet new members and visitors.  These club afternoons are also a great opportunity for up and coming young artists to come along and perform.  There is NO CLUB on the second and fourth Sunday of the month.  When there is a fifth Sunday in the month we hold an ordinary Club afternoon, same venue (Golden Church), same time from 1pm – 4pm.  We invite a guest artist.   Workshops are held on the first Wednesday of each month, (on hold at present).  The club provides friendly, relaxing and family orientated entertainment.  Everyone is encouraged to join in and sing a song or two if they wish, or just come along to listen.  If line dancing is your thing, then there’s plenty of room for that too.  We have a great backing band of dedicated musicians, which varies from time to time, but we can always guarantee that there will be a full band to back the singers each club day.  We must be one of the luckiest country music clubs in New Zealand and proud of it.  The club has a very hard-working and dedicated executive and committee, who are happy to arrange extra events throughout the year.

Membership of the club is $25 for a family and $20 for a single person (as from March 2025).  Each club day there is a door charge of $3 for members and $5 non-members (as from 1st June 2024).
